Another year has dawned
over the warm laughter of friends
whispered prayers
resonating chorus of praise
Another year has dawned
in a frenzy of excitement and hope
tears and bittersweet thanksgiving
new chapters, new promises
silver snowflakes
a God who is faithful
Another year has dawned
full with love that transcends
time
distance
the pain and beauty of change
wraps us snugly in the security
of the unknown
drinking in the joy of His grace.
