Psalm 16:11

I walk barefoot
the earth's sensations
reality under my feet
hard-soft
warm-cold
smooth-rough
I watch the ground ahead
every step is carefully chosen.

I run
I don't feel the ground anymore
the only sensations
my heartbeat
and the echo of my breathing
My surroundings blur
I see only the finish

I slow down
my legs are wobbly
my head is thrown back
the breezes whisper secrets
the treetops tremble and raise their hands

It is dusk
I still stand here
as darkness falls on my reverie
I am groping blindly
when He touches me
wrapping my hand in His
I follow
one step at a time

How can I ever comment on your poetry? It just leaves me in amazement. Follow Him, one step at a time. YES!
